The FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse is the federal database of CDL driver drug and alcohol violations. We handle your registration, C/TPA designation, driver enrollment, and pre-employment and annual queries.
The FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse is the federal database of CDL and CLP holders' drug and alcohol program violations. You must query it before hiring a driver and at least once a year for every active CDL holder — and report violations to it. Miss a query or a report, and you're exposed to civil penalties and out-of-service risk.

We handle the whole Clearinghouse function: registering your company, designating us as your C/TPA, enrolling drivers, running the pre-employment full query and the annual limited query, and reporting any violations on your behalf. You get the compliance without ever logging into the portal.

What gets reported — and what doesn't
As your C/TPA, we report drug and alcohol program violations — a positive, a refusal, or a return-to-duty status — to the Clearinghouse. Passing test results are not reported; only the violations the regulation requires.

Before allowing a CDL driver to perform safety-sensitive functions, an employer must run a pre-employment full query with the driver's consent. For every active CDL driver, the employer must also run a limited query at least once a year.
Reporting violations
Employers — and the C/TPA they designate — must report drug and alcohol program violations to the Clearinghouse: positive tests, refusals, and return-to-duty information.
Registration and consent
Employers must register in the Clearinghouse and may designate a C/TPA to conduct queries and reporting. Drivers register to provide consent for full queries. We handle the registration, the designation, and the query and reporting process.
